Sycamore advances in playoffs, to play St. X this week

After defeating Milford in overtime, Sycamore faces Saint Xavier in round two of the playoffs. The game was close all four quarters, but Sycamore slipped away with a victory after getting a stop on the defense. The game resulted a 41-35 victory for the Aves.

The Bombers faced off against Fairfield and annihilated them, winning by four touchdowns (40-12). St. X finished the year 9-1 and was given the first seed in region four. Although the Bombers defeated the Aves last year, Sycamore looks for revenge.

The game will be located at Mason High School this Friday. The gates open at 6:00 p.m. and kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. You can buy tickets during lunch Wednesday through Friday for $8 ($9 at game).  No athletic passes will get you in the game, and you will need a ticket.

This is the third time in school history (and the second year in a row), the Sycamore Varsity football team is playing in the OHSAA Regional Semi Final Football Game.
