The Flyerettes had Senior Night on Feb. 11. The girls were recognized at the basketball pre-game, along with the seniors on the Varsity basketball team and the cheerleaders.

The team performed at the basketball game against Miamisburg. Originally this was supposed to be their last home game, but due to weather the last game will be Feb. 18.

The underclassmen decorated the lockers of the seniors on Feb. 10.

Now that the season is almost over the seven underclassmen are preparing for next season. They are trying to recruit members for next season. The team will lose 12 members this year, as the seniors go off to college.

The new team members for next season will have to work hard to fill the lost seniors’ places. The team will have tryouts for next season in late April.

As senior night has passed the girls still have to work hard because the season isn’t over yet.

Upcoming Events:
Feb. 18- Basketball game vs Lakota

Abbey Baker, Managing Editor
I am a sophomore. I am 15 years old and this is my second year on The Leaf staff. My passion in life is dance. I enjoy dancing because I love to express myself through movement. My favorite subject is history. A movie I think everyone should watch is "Safe Haven." Ten years from now I see myself at college working to become an interior designer. My favorite book is "The Last Song" by Nicholas Sparks. In my music library you would find 90 percent of it to be dance songs.
