Due to the unexpected mid-winter break we experienced in mid-Feb, the APUSH students got together with teacher Valerie Nimeskern to have a two and a half hour lecture after school. In order to make the long session more enjoyable the students brought in snacks and drinks to have an ‘appetizer party.’ They covered the gilded age as well as American imperialism during the session.
