Women’s History Month- Dorothy Thompson

Dorothy Thompson was a well-known journalist from the 1930s to the 1950s.  She gave speeches for women’s suffrage, and eventually started writing her own column called “On the Record,” and a column in Ladies’ Home Journal. She spoke against the rise of Hitler and the Nazis in Germany, which eventually got her expelled from Germany. Thompson is referred to as one of the most influential women (along with Eleanor Roosevelt) in America before World War 2
