After a slow start, the Varsity Boys Soccer team is on a hot streak headed into the postseason. Senior captains Cameron Foy, William Truncellito, and Charles Supp have helped the team to a 5-0-1 record in the last 6 games. The team hopes to ride their success into the postseason.

Although down 2-0 going into halftime in a match against Lakota East, the Varsity Boys Soccer Team remained confident. The match would solidify a second place finish in the Greater Miami Conference, a position far exceeding early expectations.
Senior captain Cameron Foy said, “We had a really tough out of conference schedule, and lost a lot of close matches. The team knows that our overall record doesn’t represent how good we are.”
The team mounted an inspiring comeback, scoring three goals in the second half.
Foy said, “Things were looking gloomy after captain William Truncellito got kicked off, but we were able to rally and avenge him. He served as a martyr.”
After an extremely successful second half of the season, the team has high hopes for the postseason tournament.
Truncellito said, “We dropped a close 1-0 decision to Dublin Jerome, who’s currently third in the state. We could definitely mount a respectable postseason run.”
