JV girls tennis swings into season

  • Sophomore Halle Gordon swings into the 2015 tennis season. Sycamore starts the season at the beginning of August with a scrimmage against Seven Hills. All of Seven Hills’ teams played in practice matches against the three Sycamore teams.

  • Sophomore Bryce Winnestaffer lunges into an intense match at Centerville Tennis Tournament. The tournament was successful for the girls from Sycamore. The Aviators put in a lot of time and achieved the overall team award with their hard work.

  • Freshman Surbhi Nandikolmath said, “Being a part of the 2015 Lady Aves Tennis Program has been a great part of my freshman year. I have learned a lot from Coach Teets, Coach Farroh, and all of my teammates. I’m glad that I chose to play tennis and be a part of a great team.”

  • Samantha Fernandez said, “Our team created memories that will last a lifetime. All together, we worked harder than imaginable. The outcome of the season was achieved through the mass amounts of teamwork and support.”

  • Freshmen Swati Bhageria and Surbhi Nandikolmath share a victory over a difficult point in a match. Samantha Fernandez said, “I learned that it is possible to take the closeness of your friends for granted. I had no idea what to do with myself after the season was over.”
