What a Sycamore night it was at the Public Library last evening! The culmination of the Artists Reaching Classrooms project consisted of a beautiful display of High School Art, professionally framed, at the Public Library of Cincinnati downtown.
Seven of our students had framed work in the show! They are, Hannah Kast, Jessica Wei, Michael Heyn, Grace Whaley, Olivia Weidmann, Josie Masset and Rosalyn Liou. Jessica Wei gave a short speech stating what the ARC program meant to her in front of several hundred teachers, artists and parents. She was the only student speaker for the program. Hannah Kast won second prize (out of 84 entrants) and a scholarship of $1500 dollars! Olivia Weidmann’s painting was featured in the glass case in the front of the show and was spotlighted in the entire display.

Our parents were there, happy and proud, as were Mrs. Ferguson and Mrs.Copfer. The professional artists who influenced our students talked and complimented all of our students for their work.
