Advance planning for advance placement test
Students taking Advanced Placement (AP) test have been preparing since August for their exam date in order to receive their ranking on the college readiness scale (1 to 5).
These tests will be from May 2 through May 13, and the dates of each exam are,

- Chemistry and Environmental Science at 8:00
- Psychology at 12:00
- May 3
- Computer Science A and Spanish Language and Culture at 8:00
- Art History and Physics 1: Algebra-Based at 12:00
- May 4
- English Literature and Composition at 8:00
- Physics 2: Algebra-Based and Japanese Language and Culture at 12:00
- May 5
- Calculus AB and Calculus BC at 8:00
- Chinese Language and Culture and Seminar at 12:00
- May 6
- United States History and German Language and Culture at 8:00
- European History at 12:00
- May 9
- Biology and Music Theory at 8:00
- Physics C: Mechanics at 12:00
- Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism at 2:00
- May 10
- United States Government and its Politics at 8:00
- French Language and Culture and Spanish Literature and Culture at 12:00
- May 11
- English Language and Culture at 8:00
- Macroeconomics and Italian Language and Culture at 12:00
- May 12
- World History and Comparative Government and Politics at 8:00
- Statistics at 12:00
- May 13
- Microeconomics and Human Geography at 8:00
- Latin at 12:00
*For all students taking AP studio, they will submit a portfolio instead of taking an exam.
Student will receive news of their score in July and Scholar Awards and International Diploma notifications will be announced in September.
On test date, students should remember to bring number two pencils for filling out scantrons and black or blue pens for writing sections. Also students must bring their testing I.D.
Student should not bring food, drink, or electronic devices, including watches that could sound during the exam.

Another resource available to students studying for AP test are test prep apps. They are not meant to be the main source of review, but another supplement while studying. Some apps can be bought in bundles, or singularly.
