  • Ohio is known for its humidity. At Johnson Nature Preserve shade and scenic forests are abundant. Also, a great place to string up a hammock. All photos courtesy of Meghan DiGiovanna

  • Downtown Cincinnati is close by and has lots to explore. Over The Rhine has been recently renovated. Parks nearby offer scenic views.

  • Thea Ferdinand, 11, said “Peebles, Ohio has some of the most scenic bodies of water.” This area’s sandy beaches are not often found in Ohio. A good summer spot.

  • Ault Park is full of open grassy areas. In addition it’s iconic balcony allows wanderers to get a bird’s eye view. Sunsets are beautiful from the top.

  • Sharon Woods golf course is only for golfers during specific seasons. However, after hours it is open. Great sledding hills for the winter.
