  • ALL SMILES. Despite the gloomy weather, participants are excited for the treat. Due to the anticipated rain, the food was moved to the lower bus ramp. Seniors ate inside at the high top tables.

  • TOP DOG. “It was nice that we had a special lunch just for the seniors. I’ve been looking forward to these events since I was a freshman. I feel so powerful just walking in the cafeteria. Something about seeing the tiny freshmen makes me feel more important. I was disappointed at the veggie dogs though…I hope they can offer veggie options that aren’t trying to imitate meat in the future,” said Lalitha Lavanya Konda, 12.

  • SENIOR PRIVILEGE. The cookout is just one of many bonuses that seniors get this year. “The cookout was great! The hot dogs were really good, and it felt good to have some senior privilege. I have also really enjoy late arrival, as I am definitely not a morning person!” said Aidan Reckamp, 12.
