Valentine’s Day shares love

  • BAR NONE. Senior Jodie Lawson brought Hershey bars marked with special notes. This one says, “You set the bar!” Lawson said, “I made Valentines for my track friends because it is a way to make them smile and brighten their day.”

  • FRIEND LOVE. Seniors Thea Ferdinand, Emily Chien, and Anne Marsh along with English teacher Mr. Tom Gaffigan display their Valentine’s Day gifts. They all received banana bread from a fellow friend/student. Other friends gave each other gifts to show that they care about each other.

  • SWEET GESTURES. Students participating in the upcoming TEAMS engineering competition have been meeting during lunch and ace in Ms. Julie Haverkos’ room. This Wednesday meeting happened to align with Valentine’s Day, so the senior team shared themed gummy snacks.

  • THEY LOVE ME, THEY LOVE ME NOT. Student Council sold chocolate roses to the student body and delivered them in Ace bell. Many students used this fundraiser as an opportunity to show appreciation for their friends and teachers. Sophomore Ariane Clerc received a rose with an anonymous message. The note said, “The people who believe in you are the people who care about you.”
