SPIRIT. A walk of champions celebrates the winter track athletes before they head to state. Senior Asa Hodrick ranked seventh in the 200m. Athletes had to rank in the top eight at the event to earn points for their team as a whole.

The winter track team made a strong effort at state, competing against over 200 schools.

Senior Asa Hodrick placed seventh in the 200m and 21st in the 60m dash. Senior Matthew Isakson, juniors Kevin Landrum and Colin Walker, and sophomore Griffin Miller placed tenth in the 4×800.

The team was seeded 23rd, but they ran a 17 second cut from their previous best.

The other relays, the boys 4×400 and 4×200, ranked 19 and 23 respectively.

Senior Meghan DiGiovanna ranked 20 in the high jump, and sophomore Jordan McConnell was 20th in the 60m hurdles. Landrum and Miller were 18th and 20th in the 800m respectively.

Now, spring track has already started training for more achievements coming up.
