Emma Watson
Emma Watson is a British actress most well known for the “Harry Potter” movie series as Hermione Granger. She was born on April 15, 1990 in Paris, France, although she was raised in England. “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” Watson’s film debut was nominated for three Academy Awards and seven BAFTA Awards. This film started Watson’s career when she was only 11 years old and led her to become a respected actress. In March 2011, Watson decided to focus on her schooling and returned to Brown University to finish her English degree. After she graduated in 2014, Watson was appointed a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador where she fights for gender equality and women’s rights. Throughout Watson’s career, she has performed in a multitude of films including the 2017 musical, “Beauty and the Beast,” and “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” (2012). Watson also received the first gender-neutral award for Best Actor in Movie for her performance in “Beauty and the Beast.”
