“I think the majority of us are prone to categorizing people based on what they have or look like. For example, I teach second graders on Sundays and this one girl consistently brings in a whole tub of slime and a Starbucks drink to share with her friends. By owning these things, it’s her way of making friends and showing off her status. Most of the time these items should not be solely used to judge people, but I guess it’s just a way of life.”
