Hard working role model
Sanford Reese is an SHS graduate of the Transition Internship Program (TIP) which helps students with disabilities to stay longer at SHS and transition into the future after high school.
Reese has Autism and has proven to transition very well and is now working at the local Donatos Pizzeria in Blue Ash. He has a lot of work experience and has worked at City Barbecue, Pancake House, a hospital, Walmart, and Hilton Garden Inn.
To describe Sanford in three words, his mother Mrs. Kimberly Reese says he is smart, loving, and kind.
In addition, Sanford is very “detailed and thorough” but is also “a bit cautious and calm which makes him easy to work with.”
Sanford’s most recent passion that has developed the last couple of years is basketball. He will often go play basketball at the Blue Ash Recreation Center and enjoys watching games on TV.
However, his interest in drawing, dinosaurs, and model cars are not replaced and still enjoys these things.
Sanford is a great role model for his peers from TIP. His classmates even got to see him at Donatos to see him at work.
