Flyerettes reflect on season

  • FIRST GAME. After tryouts, the Flyerettes expanded to a team of 12, welcoming a senior Amanda Geraci. The Senior is wearing the gold jersey, standing out from the rest of the team.

  • SIDELINES. The Basketball season finally started! This was the first time the Flyerettes did sidelines. Freshman Olivia Woods said, “I was really nervous that we wouldn’t do so well, but when we finally performed it went alright.”

  • SECOND GAME. They improved a lot from the previous game because they are now getting used to performing in front of a huge crowd.

  • DRESSING NICE. The Flyerettes are dressing “nice” on a game day for team spirit! They performed to the song “Hip Swing.”

  • NEW OUTFITS. The Flyerettes wore new outfits for “J-Lo”! Zoe Canty, a junior on the team said “The girls and I did really great at half time today. I think the crowd liked us!”

  • MINI CLINIC. The Flyerettes spend their weekend teaching kids k-8 the dance “Shake It”. They performed it together during half time.

  • ATTEMPT AT JAZZ. Trying jazz! They wore the early 2000s fashion outfits to fit the song “2002”. “My favorite part was being with the team and the bandannas,” said Bethany Dye.

  • SENIOR NIGHT. Some of them wore pink and silver glittery outfits; others wore green and gold dresses— there was a huge variety.

  • LAST GAME. The Flyerettes wore their volleyball top outfit and senior Amanda Geraci wore her Golden jersey on top. Amanda Geraci said, “I’m so glad I got to do what I like to do one last time.”
