After attending conferences at Mount Notre Dame and the University of Dayton earlier this school year, the Model United Nations (MUN) club attended their third conference of the year on Feb. 6 until Feb. 9.

26 students from the club attended the Model United Nations of the University of Chicago (MUNUC) conference with thousands of other students from across the nation, as well as other countries.

“It was an amazing experience to meet so many other kids and be part of such a real conference,” said Anu Roy-Chaudhury, 11.

Although committee hours were long and often late at night, students still had plenty of free time.

“My friends and I braved the cold winds of Chicago visiting places like Chinatown, Millenium Park, and local restaurants in between committees and sessions,” said Karin Oh, 12.

The conference ended with a closing ceremony in the morning on Feb. 9, and the club arrived back in Cincinnati at 8 p.m.
