Outstanding Oscars Outfits
With over 42 million viewers observing and judging every aspect of the night, the Oscars did not fail fashion fans with the attire that was presented. Whether you tuned in for this extravagant award show or not, the dresses featured throughout the night dazzled Oscar watchers everywhere.
Sycamore Style Guide is bringing to you this week the top dresses modeled over the course of the night that we find simply cannot be ignored.
Sandra Bullock always a simple beauty, walked down the red carpet with a strapless blue-grey gown that matched perfectly with her hairstyle – moved to the side and held by unfaltering curls. She was one actress that made a statement by not making an overdone statement.
Jennifer Lawrence is a young lady who has captured the hearts of an unbelievable amount of people everywhere. Accompanying her beautiful personality, she wore a solid red dress with a small layer of fabric wrapping around her waist adding dimension to her shape. She paired her striking red dress with a slick back hairstyle that screams elegant and chic.
Lupita Nyong’o, the “it” girl of the night made a stunning entrance with her baby blue, Prada gown. Lupita is new to the world of Hollywood but not for long. With her Fred Leighton jewelry she stole the night, and the Oscar, away with her grace.
Amy Adams strolled to Oscars in her strictly chic, royal blue attire. This Gucci premier strapless gown was accompanied by Tiffany & Co. jewelry as she dazzled the world. Though she did not take home an Oscar, she most certainly impressed viewers with her classy demeanor.
Anne Hathaway never fails to mesmerize her fans with her sharp and elegant style. Her Gucci dressed displayed her tasteful attitude and calm, cool and collected personality.
The Oscars are not just about the individuals who are nominated and who win an Oscar in specific categories, it is also to highlight stars that come to the Red Carpet prepared and ready to show of what they are wearing.
And remember: “Be sure what you want and be sure about yourself. Fashion is not just beauty, it’s about good attitude. You have to believe in yourself and be strong.” – Adriana Lima
