Hi, I’m Drew Price. This is my first year on the leaf staff and I am a senior, making it my last year as well. I work as a staff writer, coming up with story ideas, interviewing staff and students, and writing stories for The Leaf. I decided to join this year because I am an aspiring screenwriter/novelist and I thought it would be a unique chance to learn a new style of creative writing. One thing I didn’t expect, however, was to be welcomed by a kind and supportive community. All the people who work on the publication are extremely dedicated, not just to getting The Leaf out, but also to making sure that everyone’s work is as good as it can be. I have been blessed with the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful community before I graduate. When I have free time, I watch movies, read books, play video games, and brainstorm ideas for creative writing pieces. Some of my favorite movies are “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” and “The Blues Brothers.”  I hope you enjoy the creativity I will bring to The Leaf this year.
