My name is Everett Kohinke, and I am the CEO of my own company, Kudzu Magazine, which
spotlights local rap artists of Cincinnati and its surrounding areas. Kudzu combines four of my
greatest passions all into one. First and foremost, I am a photographer. Photography to me is all
about sharing and creating incredible moments with others and being ready to capture it with
perfect timing. I love how photography forces me out of my comfort zone and is an awesome
excuse for me to experience and understand the people and environment around me. Secondly,
I always enjoy meeting new people, networking, and sharing a good conversation with anyone
the world throws in my direction. I’m the type of person who likes to find the value in everyone
and the only way I believe one can do this is by communicating and opening up to with one
another. This passion is fueled by my connection to the idea of community and fuels my inner
interviewer. Thirdly, I would be nowhere without music. Music brings people together, transports
us to entirely new worlds, and explains emotion like no words ever could. Since music is such a
large piece of my life, I felt it was only right for me to give back and support those who create it.
In order for me to wrap the whole thing together and give this to the world, I had to know the
principles of business. I am a very scientific thinker and a good dose of logical thinking rounds
me out. Altogether, photography, meeting new people, music, and business all came together to
form an incredible combination and I’m excited to show you all how far these passions can take me.
