On Thurs., Oct. 1, a vigil was held for the nine victims that were killed in the Umpqua College shooting. It is a very somber time for the friends and families of the victims as they remember them for the legacies that they have left behind. The vigil brought up the discussion of stricter gun laws around the United States, so unfortunate events like these do not happen again.
