Week long battery life possible on iPhone 6
A green energy company claims to have produced a battery that lasts a week long and fits inside an iPhone 6.
British company Intelligent Energy says it is not a theory. They possess a prototype of a phone that does not need to be charged for an entire week.
Junior Jack Loon said, “It would be incredible if they released a phone where I wouldn’t have to charge it for a week. I’m constantly charging my phone and it is so annoying when it dies.”
Intelligent Energy replaced the battery Apple built into the iPhone 6 with a fuel cell of the same size. The only modification needed was the addition of a vent that allows water vapor to escape.
Sophomore Dylan Sleyo said, “This seems like an awesome idea but if water vapor needs to escape couldn’t that damage your phone really bad?”
Some people have a constant fear that their phone battery is about to die. The scientific name is nomophobia.
If this technology is released on the public market those who do have nomophobia can rejoice.
Sophomore Kyle Schroder said, “If this is released I will be interested to see how well it does. I imagine it would be crazy expensive.”
