International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day is typically celebrated on March 8 every year. It is a day to celebrate women and their accomplishments around the world.
This year, the theme is #PressforProgress, encouraging communities to be more gender inclusive. The theme was inspired by the movements of 2017, including #MeToo and #Time’sUp.
According to the World Economic Forum’s 2017 Global Gender Gap report, achieving gender parity will take over 200 years. #PressforProgress is a simple message to keep motivated and to keep momentum to strive for gender parity.
