Hello! My name is Maria Kogan, I’m a senior at Sycamore High School, and this is my first year in Journalism. I have always loved writing and creating, and especially this year I am interested in sales because that is what I’m looking to do in college. I’m so excited about senior year and being a part of Journalism! Outside of school, I love going to the gym, being with friends and family, and listening to music. I have loved the environment of Journalism class and it’s such a great opportunity to be able to work on The Leaf, which goes out to hundreds of students at our school every month. I’m very optimistic about this year, and am excited to share my stories with everyone!!!
