The launcher project is assigned to the students of Mrs. Julie Haverkos' accelerated physics classes. The project was assigned in the student's first semester during their unit on projectile motion. “I have been doing launcher projectiles since I started teaching at Kings High School 25 years ago. I brought the project to Sycamore when I came here, and four to five years ago Mr. G [Mike Gutekunst] came up with cornholapoluzza,” Haverkos said.
