Pep rally celebrates winter/spring sports
A pep rally to feature the annual staff vs students basketball game, winter and spring sports teams, and important information for the end of the year took place on April 27. Before and in between quarters of the game, athletes from tennis, baseball, softball, and lacrosse showed off skills related to their sports, and the cheerleaders and choir performed for the school. The basketball game was won by the staff, 27-24. The assembly’s emcee, Mr. Benjamin Tilton, also took the opportunity to share important times/dates for prom, graduation, and sophomore debates. Officer Paul Payne and two other Montgomery police officers also advised students to make safe decisions and avoid drinking under the influence over prom weekend.
