Q: How much longer will members have to wait until they can play?
A: We will begin practicing shortly after AP exams are over. I did not want to have our members juggling exams, normal schoolwork, and the club all at once.
Q: How will the club operate in the summer? Will it even be around?
A: The summer months are actually the main reason why I recommend people join the club. We play Mason in the summer in a regulation cricket game with real equipment and everything else you would need. It is a great experience and an even better time.
Q: How much playing time will members get?
A: Well the club has no cuts and playing time is not based on skill. We do have a competitive team that has cuts, but as far as the normal team every member will have an equal opportunity to play just as much as the next person.
Q: If somebody joins who has never played cricket before, how easy will it be for them to catch on?
A: We will make it very easy for newcomers to join the club. Cricket is one of those sports that is easily understood when you play it. You just pick it up as you go, so I think the best way to teach would be to just throw them right into the fire and have them learn as they go.
