I’ve never tried any form of journalism before, but now seemed to be a great time to try it out. I was on the Power of the Pen team in 7th grade and qualified for regionals. Despite my massive height (6’4”), I am a freshman. I play trombone in the Jazz Band and the 2nd Bell Sycamore Winds, and the baritone in marching band. I have an affinity for all things video games, as well as a slight addiction to Netflix. I hope to be the very best writer I can be this year.

The track at SHS will be renovated this summer. The IMC is also awaiting a renovation. The IMC may include a smoothie bar and chairs that have plugs for charging your cell phone.
