ON YOUR FEET. Seniors cheer for their class at the Homecoming pep rally at the end of the school day on Fri., Sept. 22. The pep rally capped off the first Spirit Week of the year. Each day had students dress in specific ways to demonstrate school spirit, with the final day being class colors.

They won both Monday and Tuesday before it was said that they maxed out their chances of winning and got out-to-lunch passes instead. “By having the daily competitions, it definitely encouraged more people to actually dress up because there was a reason to,” said Christine Zou, 11.

This is the schedule for Spirit Week for Sycamore students and staff. The event will last from Tuesday, Jan. 18, to Friday, Jan. 22. Originally, a Pep Rally was planned at the end of the week, but was postponed until Feb. 19 to promote Fashion for the Cure and its charity of choice: The Dragonfly Foundation. Fashion for the Cure will be on Fri. Feb. 26 at 7:00 PM.
