GO AVES GO. Senior cheerleader Kennedy Archer is cheering on the Aves during one of their last home games. “Stepping out on the track to cheer one last time was a decision I was happy I made. The addicting games are short and fun, causing many to play. “I think so many teens enjoy playing the games because everyone enjoys competing against peers through the games. I play game pigeon to take a break from my stress from college applications and school assignments,” Fukuda said.

HEELS TO GYM SHOES. From moving the area from the Commons to the gym and changing the footwear from heels to gym shoes, SHS homecoming has come a long way. SHS homecoming also used to have bonfires and floats, and is still constantly changing and improving with trends of the new generations. “Last year there were no shoes in the gym; since obviously basketball players use gym shoes in the gym, gym shoes are [now] allowed on that floor,” Mrs. Korchok said.

FFTCxTDF. On Sept. 27, the Fashion for the Cure committee was recognized for their dedication to The Dragonfly Foundation. Over the years, they have donated over $148,000 to the Cincinnati non-profit. As to whats motivating the committee, co-chair Eva Armbruster said Fashion for the Cure is all about supporting The Dragonfly Foundation with the hope of easing the difficulty of having to deal with cancer that these families have to battle every day.
