ALL BARK, NO BITE. Although it is highly frowned upon, even in professional leagues players still resort to the art of trash-talk. Some of the most iconic sports players in history like Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, and Sean Avery have even refrained from keeping the game totally clean. According to Shaquille O’ Neal, Jordan once told him exactly what he was going to do during the game and yet still pulled it off. "I'm coming down. I'm going to dribble it between my legs twice. I'm going to pump fake and then I'm going to shoot a jumper. And then I'm going to look at you," recited O’ Neal.

ON THE ICE. Sports Plus has remained a mainstay in the lives of all SHS hockey players for years, and it is where Skate with the Aves is held each year. The location also houses other gyms and activities for children and athletes all around the Cincinnati area. “Sports Plus has benefited the team for practices and games and we hope others can share the same feeling of appreciation for the establishment,” said Matt Spary, SHS hockey coach.

Sophomore Sophie Campbell is a player for the girls water polo team. Campbell switched from playing soccer after her freshman year due to a knee injury. Campbell's sister, Ania Campbell, is a captain of the girls water polo team. The team is currently ranked fourth in state, tied with Milford. "I decided to play water polo because my older sister, Ania Campbell, encouraged me to. She has played for three years and advised me to try it out... I am so happy that I joined," Campbell said.
