OMEA: Sing your heart out

“Paddington” is a little bear from the deepest darkest Peru. He is sent to England to find a family there and he stumbles upon the Browns. The Browns and Paddington seem to be a perfect match, but Paddington attracts “adventures.” What will he get into next? Such sweet stories and memories are a nice way to relax and embrace the inner child everyone has.

Summer is a time for cold lemonade, hanging out at the pool, and catching up on good books. Check out Plenilune and Anon, Sir, Anon, which are both coming out just in time for the warm weather. They would also make a wonderful graduation present.

Programs such as Naviance help alert students to college visits, qualifications, average scores and GPAs needed for each college, etc. Sycamore supplies all upperclassmen with a Naviance account. Your life is your choice, and “it ain’t over ‘til it’s over.” You can go to numerous colleges, try numerous courses of study, and have more than one job. College is a necessary evil and a wonderful opportunity at the same time.

Once a Mitford book is started, the tension of the day seems to glide right off. Even with its hardships, Mitford is the best place to settle down. A quote from the book sums this up perfectly: “He turned away for a moment, smacked by the beauty of complete surprise.”
