DECISION. Students go online to make the choices for their next year classes. One part that students struggle with is if they should take advanced placement (AP) classes or not. AP classes are very beneficial but also have some negative aspects.

BRAIN FRIED. Two AP Chemistry students rest during the optional Saturday of instruction on kinetics. They, alongside over 15 others, spent over five hours learning about reaction rates and other related concepts. Mr. Michael Geyer taught more complex concepts that are likely not to be on the AP Exam to students who stayed after the session over.

Mr. Ovington's fourth bell class diligently prepares for their final and their AP exam.  They finished their last unit in the class, on Mon. Apr. 25, and will follow a plan separating what they’ve learned all year into four periods and making timelines for each period.  The students, while extremely stressed can’t wait for May 7 and have already begun planning which movies they want to watch in the weeks of school following the AP exam.

  AP Spanish students take the writing part of the practice Spanish exam. Having a trial run before the actual exam helps the exam day process go smoother. The practice exam helps students get a feel for what the exam day will be like.
