My name is Mark Huffer and I am a sophomore at Sycamore HS.  My favorite song is Oxygen by Lincoln Brewster and my favorite movie is Finding Dory.  I play soccer for Cincinnati United and recreational basketball.  I like The Office and Parks and Rec.  I have lived in Mexico for six years and been to Guatemala.  I wish to attend Moody Bible Institute for college and be a missionary when I am older in either Latin America or Africa.

RENOVATE. Mr. Mader informed Sycamore that there will be a new form of announcement delivery next school year. The delivery has changed from verbal over the PA to visual over email and now will be in the hallways. This allows students to do what they want in ACE bell, but still gives them announcements that they can easily see.

The Fellowship of Christain Athletes (FCA) kicked off on September 29. Brenden Archer, 12, headed a lesson on unity in the campus of Sycamore High School, through students, teachers, and administrators. This day, FCA was held in the teachers’ lounge. In the 2OT, Curtis Samuel scores the winning touchdown after Michigan’s field goal. This was after a first down conversion by Barrett that many people belive to be controversial by many, mostly Michigan fans. This added on to Ohio State’s recent vistories of winning 12 of the last 13 games.

On October 22, Chicago Cubs beat the Brooklyn Dodgers 5-0 in game six of the League Champion Series. The Cubs won the series 4-2, winning the last two games. The celebration on the field was after a double play including shortstop Addison Russel, second baseman Ben Zorbist, and first baseman Anthony Rizzo.
