The Leaf

Caroline Gao
Hi! I am a junior at SHS and I am currently the business manager for The Leaf. This is my third year on staff for The Leaf and I plan to stay on staff next year as well. Being a member of The Leaf allows me to not only work with people who also share my passion of  journalism, but it also allows me to work with the latest Adobe programs and strengthen my writing skills as well as learn about leadership and dedication. The years I have spent on staff have taught me more than just about journalism, but have help me grow as a person as well. I could not be more excited for another year as a part of the number one ranked news magazine in the state of Ohio. Other than journalism, some of my hobbies include playing tennis and playing the piano. I am a part of SHS's Girls Varsity Gold tennis team, and during the off season, I play at a local club and in various tournaments. During my spare time, I also enjoy reading novels and creating works of art. If I am not participating in any of the activities above, I am most likely spending time with my friends and family. I am very thrilled to be a part on staff for The Leaf and am looking forward to a great year with everyone.
